Monsal Head (and back)

An early rise on a Sunday for a nice stroll to the Peaks, Monsal Head to be more precise. The first time I’ve had 4 people in the Fiat (who still has no name). And perhaps the first time I’ve ever had 4 people in my car, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have got very far in the mini.

So with bouncy balls, a spot of rain, singing and dancing, cheese and pickle sandwiches. And of course a Disney soundtrack for the journey home?!

Steep hills up thankfully means there’s a down on the otherside! And we always have to stop to appreiate the farm animals.

The viaduct we happily walked across, then over the mass of land which apparently looked like something out of Jurassic Park. But I so knew what my friend meant!

To the fair!

Now I’m not sure if it’s just the bright lights but I really like going to fairs even though I seem to just wander aimlessly and watch in awe as others throw caution (along with their stomachs) to the wind. I’m much better at larger theme parks, though they don’t look so pretty!

Above (pictures to come) is the ride that a couple of my friends went on, I laughed so hard at the look on their faces as they went around and around and around and up and down and inside out.

I am a cloud

Another Friday night drinking cocktails, but rather fortunate and mildly amusing in places. A free drink with our meal beacause they arrived late, two for one cocktails all night and flyers for the club found on the floor meaning £2 entry! Bonus. This meant however that all today was good for was a spot of cloud watching.

Oh, and drinking yet more cocktails at a friend’s before getting an early night ready for a Sunday at work. Yes, work on a Sunday.

Tap Dance!

Although by the time you’ve made it up the what feels like 10 flights of stairs you really don’t feel like doing anything other than rest. It was a close call tonight. As I was very nearly the only one that turned up it was on the verge of being cancelled! Thankfully the other lady arrived just on time, but I feel a rrecruitment drive is on order. Anyone interested?

Mmm jam on toast. I have no idea why I always thought I didn’t like jam. It’s ace!

And a night at home

So, after logging into my 1&1 account I remind myself of all the domain names I’ve purchased and never done anything with, or as is quite often the case started but never finished. The question is do I get rid or do I attempt to do something with them? I can’t help but shout at myself ‘STOP BEING SO LAZY!’ But is it all just bright ideas?

Another day at the office

I wore a dress – to bed

So the ball was a good laugh as always. Good singing and dancing fun, with the macarena thrown in for good measure.

Slightly miffed when I woke up on my sofa at half 8 in the morning, still wearing my dress and tights. All of the lights were on, and I hadn’t unbuckled my shoes before removing them. The weird part is my bed is actually easier to get to than my sofa! Needless to say I spent the rest of my day on the sofa.

Red wine headaches hurt.
